1. Overview

Adaptorun ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it when you use the Adaptorun mobile application.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide our service:

• Account data: Email address and password (via Supabase Auth) to create and maintain your account.
• Profile data: Running experience level, race goal, race date, training availability, age, and gender — used to generate your personalized training plan.
• Training data: Your generated training plan, workout completion status, and plan adaptations.
• Strava data: If you connect Strava, we access your running activities (distance, duration, pace, heart rate) to match them against your plan. We store only the data needed for plan tracking.
• Usage analytics: Anonymous usage events (screen views, feature usage) via Firebase Analytics to improve the app. No personally identifiable information is included.
• Crash reports: Anonymous crash logs via Firebase Crashlytics to fix bugs.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Generate and adapt your personalized running training plan
• Sync your completed workouts from Strava
• Show your training history, stats, and streak
• Improve the app based on anonymous usage patterns
• Send important account notifications (e.g., subscription status)

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following trusted third-party services that are necessary to operate Adaptorun:

• Supabase — secure database and authentication hosting
• Anthropic (Claude API) — AI model used server-side to generate your training plan; your profile data is sent to generate a plan but is not stored by Anthropic
• Strava — only if you connect your account; governed by Strava's Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat — subscription management; see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy
• Google Firebase — analytics and crash reporting (anonymous data only)

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with row-level security policies. Authentication tokens are stored in encrypted device storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain). We use HTTPS for all network communication.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal data is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Profile → Delete Account.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Disconnect Strava at any time (Settings → Strava)
• Export your data — contact us at the email below

8. Children's Privacy

Adaptorun is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

9. Subscriptions

Adaptorun offers a 7-day free trial followed by paid subscription options. Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Billing and payment data is handled entirely by Apple/Google and RevenueCat — we never see your payment details.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
